Bullies usually target people they think are weaker than them when looking for a victim and sometimes that can even include animals, but Ian Somerhalder thinks he might have found a way to have bullies work with animals in a way that will result in a benefit for both parties.

The ‘Vampire Diaries’ star is working on building an eco-friendly green sanctuary on a farm in Louisiana that will house animals that have behavioral issues.  His nonprofit organization, The Ian Somerhalder Foundation,

will then help to match up a bully with the animals with behavioral issues teaching the bully to have patience, respect and showing them what it’s like to deal with a bully.
